In other news, did you know that today is my Periscope-iversery? A yeah ago today, I was laid off from my full-time job, and made the decision to work as a full-time freelancer! I feel so much happier now than I have in years, and I’ve watched my artistic skills grow up to something I can be proud of. Plus, I’m actually managing to support myself on my art! I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

For Periscope’s Sketch Challenge this week, we’re doing Disney Princesses. I decided to mash up Beauty And The Beast with Portal. Because, you know… Belle…Chell….get it?X3

I was recently commissioned to do a food safety poster. It’s meant to go up in a chicken processing plant to remind workers to follow safe food handling practices.
This could have been a really dry job, but thanks to the creativeness of my client, it resulted in me creating one of the best images of my life.
