I know, I am super behind again. I’m going to try and catch up this week while wading through Stumptown madness. In the meantime, here is a sketch! I was playig around with what I want the bad guy of my story to look like, and tried basing this dude off my Grandpa Farris(who was a great guy, but always looked scary to me). I think I accidentally drew an older, more fat-nosed Luther Levy instead.@___@

Last night, I sat down and counted how many drawings I was behind on my 365 blog. Then I drew that many squares onto paper, and put a sketch in each one. If I say I’m going to do something, then I’m going to do it, dammit. So here they are, sketches 070-089. I just hope I don’t fall this far behind again.
I’m calling this “20 Portraits of The Artist As Someone Other Than Herself.” Which is somewhat incorrect. The first one is me as I am, just to give frame of reference. There are many things I hate about myself on a day to day basis. I find it difficult to be happy with who I am, and I kind of like the idea of trying on something else for a while. In this case, it’s hair. Not that I don’t like my hair, but I do get tired of it sometimes. I always wish I was more gutsy so I could experiment more. After all, it grows back, right?
So, in a fit of somewhat drunken exuberance, I may have told colleague Dennis Culver that I would take up his mantel of drawing one drawing every day.
As you can see, it is the fifth, and I am behind.X3 However, I am going to do this, and I’m willing to play catch up!
So here is the deal: One drawing, every day. I’m not setting any other rules, because I want to be able to get this done every day. So probably a lot of pencil drawings, but some inks might creep in if I get some free time.
Anyhow, it’s my birthday today, so let’s get this started!!
