ECCC 2013! Thank you all!

Hi folks! I know this is coming in a little late, but I wanted to have a wrap-up post for ECCC this year!

It was great to meet everyone that came by the table, and your feedback on my work was completely energizing! I sincerely cannot tell you how much it meant to me. It was a great show, and I am looking forward to doing it again next year!

Thanks especially to everyone who bought copies of Flaccid Badger!

I also got to do a lot of fun commissions this year, and will post them below for you to see. If by any chance you happen to be the lady I painted the buffalo commission for, would you be willing to send me a picture or scan? It was the only one I forgot to document for my records!

Wonder Woman Commission!

Here’s a commission I did recently. I was asked to paint someone’s wife as Wonder Woman for her birthday, and it was delightful to put together. I am seriously pleased with the way this came out, and I’m glad I can share it now!

I’m Your Silver Lining

I recently had the great pleasure of being asked to watercolor over my original art for my Luna Lovegood print. I wanted to stay as close as possible to my original idea, but I wasn’t sure exactly how to go about it. So in true Farris form, I just started painting and hoped for the best! The result was a piece of original art I am truly proud of, and I got to experiment with a few new techniques that I can now add to my watercoloring bag of tricks. I like the hand-colored version so much, I’m considering getting prints of it made to replace the computer version I currently offer.

I hope you like it, too!

Emerald City Comic Con 2012

Hey folks!

Now seems like as good a time as any to announce that I’ll be in attendance at this year’s Emerald City Comic Con! I’m really looking forward to the show this year. Emerald City just gets better and better each time, and this year I’ll have a bunch of new prints and minis for you folks.

I’ll also be taking commissions, so if you’d like one, you can come see me at the show, or you can contact me at cattifer(a)gmail(dot)com and put yourself on the list now.

My work will also be included in this year’s Monsters and Dames book, so be sure to check that out as well!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
